Pist Vaek box bag is another one of the felted bags that I have been so happy to design, knit and use. It is part of my “Pist væk” series, which consists of small projects that allow You to get rid of your leftover yarn in a useful and fun way. Pist væk can probably best be translated as “Gone away”

Here, the classic “lady-like” shape and form of a bag has been played with.

Its a one size bag - but felting and yarnchoiche effect the final size. The one shown is before felting 42 X 11 X 28 cm and shrinks to 30 X 9 X 25 cm

Gauge is between 10-12 sts. = 10 cm before felting

Woolen yarn is needed. Not superwash yarn.

The shown bag operates with two colors. MC is blue, CC is green. Both Knoll Kilcarra held double. But it is only the knitter who decides. Consider the bag as a canvas where you paint with the leftover yarn you have
