‘Polar Melt’ is a simple two-color stranded-knitting cowl, worked in the round, and beautiful in ice & water shades or any other colors that suit your fancy. ‘Polar Melt’ makes a wonderful introduction to color work, but is engaging enough for more advanced knitters as well. (Kits available here!)

Yarn: 2 colors of Tempestry Worsted (shown in Nimbus & Tarn, and Typhoon & Tempest) or equivalent worsted-weight yarn, approximately 50g/110yds of each color.

Needles: US5 (3.75mm) and US7 (4.5mm) in 16” or 24” circulars

Gauge: approximately 20 stitches and 25 rows = 4” in stockinette

Finished Measurements: approximately 8.5” deep by 22” around
