Notes on construction

This bottom-up tee features a boat neck and a simple but elegant design. The body is worked in the round then split at the armholes and worked flat until the desired length. Then, the shoulders are with an i-cord bind-off for a more polished look.

Materials

Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Sock, light fingering weight (100 gr / 3.53 oz; 402 m / 440 yd; 100 % merino).
2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins colour #EU-4, Gepetto.

Needles: 3.5 mm / 80 cm and 40 cm US 4 / 32” and 16” circular needles or the required needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Other notions: Tapestry needle, 1 marker in colour A and 12 to 19 markers in colour B, waste yarn or 2 stitch-holders.

Gauge
26 stitches and 38 rounds = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” in
stocking stitch in the round, after blocking.

Acerca de la construcción

La camiseta se teje de abajo hacia arriba, con escote barco y con un diseño muy simple pero a la vez muy resultón, el cuerpo es un cuadrado que al llegar a las sisas se divide en dos partes para seguir tejiendo en plano hasta llegar al tamaño deseado, entonces se unen los hombros y después se rematan el cuello y las mangas con un borde de cierre de cordón para darle un aspecto más acabado.
