Practically Perfect in every way! Isn’t that how you would describe everyone’s favorite Nanny, Mary Poppins? Tiffany of Tippy Tree Yarns has managed to capture the magic and whimsy of Mary Poppins Returns in her gorgeous colorways and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. This particular colorway, Practically Perfect, is just that, it’s my favorite blend of colors and is the best nod to Mary Poppins that I’ve seen yet. When I saw it, I knew that it had to be a shawlette, something elegant, but not too fussy, something practical, yet fun. I took inspiration from the stitch pattern on the coat Mary Poppins wears when she flies in on the end of the kite string, and it just all blossomed from there. I hope knitting this piece brings you joy and that it puts a song in your step when you wear it!
