It’s finally Autumn. The leaves are turning, it’s sweater weather, and it’s time for my favorite drink - the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL). Does that make me a little basic? Probably! But that’s fine by me - give me all the pumpkin flavored things!

PSL is a warm, double knit pattern that is completely reversible and is designed to fit in a single loop around your neck. Knit in a solid black with a slightly variegated rusty orange for warmth and depth.

PSL is a pattern that is suitable for an adventurous beginner to double knitting.

Double knitting in the round is easier on my brain than double knitting flat and a good introduction to the technique. No pesky reversing the pattern in your head as you flip from back to front - the color you see on the chart is the color you knit first! No worrying about selvedge edges! What could be better!

Notes about the pattern:

Charted
Two colors of yarn are needed with approximately 200-225 yards per color needed.
Links to videos are included for basic double knitting techniques, as well as cast on/cast off variations for a little more customization of your cowl.
