Knit some little Christmas puddings to decorate your home this festive season. These puddings are great for stash busting as you only need small amounts of yarn. Knit a plain pudding, or add a yellow custard topping which is worked using short rows. The holly berries are knitted bobbles, and the leaves are cut from felt fabric.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the puddings are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a handful of toy filling per pudding, and green felt fabric for the leaves and pinking shears to cut them.

SIZES
One size only - 7.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows, and seaming to finish.
