These garter stitch cups are worked flat, section by section, in a log cabin fashion. When the piece is finished, the first row and the last row are joined together with kitchener stitch that creates smooth, perfectly seamless fabric.

  • Size 3 in / 7.5 cm wide across bottom and 3 ½ (4 ½, 5) in / 9 (11.5, 12.5) cm tall.

  • Gauge 21 sts and 44 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in garter stitch

  • Skill level Provisional cast on (instructions included), knit, binding off and picking up stitches, kitchener stitch / grafting (instructions included).

  • Needles and Notions 4mm (US6) needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Waste yarn; tapestry needle; 4 mm (G/6) crochet hook; size 4mm (US6) or smaller circular needle.
