I knew I wanted to design a hat with a doubled, ribbed brim so that’s where I started. Otherwise I had no idea where this pattern was going, and I decided that whatever will be will be. This is how Que Sera came to be. The ribbing is interrupted for a really cool seed stitch chevron panel, then goes right back to the ribbing for the crown.
Yarn
220-300 yards of fingering weight yarn
Needles and Notions
2.75-3.00 mm circular needles or DPN’s, cable needle, darning needle, scrap yarn and extra needles if using provisional cast on.
Skill
Intermediate. Optional provisional cast on, picking up stitches, 2 stitch cables, basic knit stitches.
