This gorgeous hat does exactly what its name suggests! Using gorgeously soft hand-dyed Merino Aran wool, and beautifully textured using quick no-fuss-no-cables twisted stitches, it feels thick and cosy to wear, and will definitely keep you warm during the winter!
The hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up, with easy repeats and simple twisted stitches, and with a swirling pattern on the crown. It is a great quick-knit project if you need to rustle up a beautiful and comfy hat in a hurry!
The pattern contains row-by-row written instructions, as well as large charts for a totally smooth knitting experience.

Materials:
1 x 100g skein of Woolgather Aran weight yarn by Unwind Yarns (100% Superwash Extra Fine Merino wool, approx. 166m / 181yds)
4.50mm set of double pointed needles, or 1 long circular needle if using Magic Loop technique
5mm set of double pointed needles, or 1 long circular needle if using Magic Loop technique
Stitch markers (up to 12, depending on the circular knitting method used)

Finished Size:
Approximately 20” circumference x 9” deep. Please note that the yarn is very stretchy, it fits up to 24” easily.
If you wish to make a slightly smaller circumference hat, keep to using the 4.5 needle through the whole project. If you want to make a much smaller hat (18”), use 4mm and 4.5mm needles.
