This pattern makes for a negative ease low waist shorts with short rows in the back, but you can easily make it higher waist if that’s what you prefer. The legs can also be made a bit longer. Remember because of the negative ease, the legs will look longer than they appear when you wear the shorts.

The pattern sizes:
Finished size: 25 (29, 32, 35) inches
Will fit hip size: 30 (34, 38, 42) inches

The sizes are small.

I made this shorts a long time ago, it was one of my first designs made into a pattern and I soon discovered this isn’t an easy task and the pattern didn’t work too well I’m afraid.

Following a challenge on a Ravelry forum I decided to remake the shorts and also rewrite the pattern which turned out to be a very good idea. I now have a nice shorts for next summer and also a working pattern for my design. Norwegian and English both.
