Quixotic shawl
Then name Quixotic:
quixotic “kwɪksotik”
Possessing or acting with the desire to do noble and romantic deeds, without thought of realism and practicality; exceedingly idealistic. Impulsive, like Don Quixote; romantic to extravagance; absurdly chivalric; apt to be deluded.

A shawl in a bold look and European flare that is a bit of “Contemporary” meets “Romantique”. Starting out with a simple garter stitch section, moving into a satisfying stitch pattern with great rhythm and simplicity that is easily remembered. Beads all around the shawl lend a romantic feel as does the dramatic lace section that adds the final touch. No worries the lace is surprisingly easy to knit~

One interesting and not so obvious detail, the slightly curved middle section creates a collar.

The pattern is written and has a chart for the lace section. The blocked shawl measures 82” by 18”.
