Quoin: cornerstone; a wedge-shaped piece of wood, stone, or other material, used for any of various purposes.

The Quoin Hat is an intarsia hat designed to be simple enough for someone new to intarsia to make. The hat is worked flat until the intarsia portion is completed, and then joined to work the rest in the round. The brim is folded, worked either with a provisional cast on or by picking up a cable cast on edge. This is not an intarsia tutorial.

Small hat is approximately 16.8 inches around, 6.8 inches high and should fit a 17-19 inch head. Medium hat is approximately 19.25 inches around, 9 inches high and should fit 20-22 inch head. Large hat is approximately 21.6 inches around, 9 inches high and should fit a 22-24 inch head.

Purple hat is the small size, model has a 19.75 inch head. Orange and grey hat is the medium size, model has a 21.5 inch head
