Gauge not important for project

Written crochet pattern instructions for a Ragdoll scarf inspired by Sally, from Nightmare Before Christmas. This piece is worked continuously in rows. A lot of details are sewn on afterwards. Gauge is not necessary for this project - just don’t lose stitches when changing colours. One size.

Materials:

  • H/5mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn in 4 colours - Black, pink, yellow and teal - Use any brand to achieve final look (see note below)
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Note: I used Big Twist soft yarn in Black, Teal and yellow. The pink is from my scrap yarn supply and I can not find a match for it. I suggest using a pink from whichever brand of yarn you’re using for the other 3 colours. There’s a Big twist soft in medium rose, if you use that brand.

Skills required for project:

  • Half double crochet - used throughout
  • Single crochet - For embellishments
  • Magic circle - For embellishments
  • Colour changing & carrying yarn in work
  • Embroidery
  • Sewing pieces together
  • Fringe

-Finished scarf measurements (approx): 70” -long, 6.5” wide, with fringe tassels

-Exact yardage unknown - You will use less than 2 oz of each colour, except for black. Black is more like 3 to 4oz. The whole project is 7oz!

-You may sell your finished items, please credit me as designer and provide a link back to my pattern - I’d love to see any and all finished scarves! Happy crocheting!
