The cot sized baby blanket is constructed using the C2C technique. It is a rectangle blanket that consists of a background colour with 12 squares and 4 rectangles.

The blanket size is 118cm by 91cm. It can be made smaller by removing one section of blocks or made larger by adding more blocks or more of the background colour at the beginning and end of each row.

A graph is provided and separate line by line instructions are also provided.

Gauge is 6.5 C2C stitches per 10cm using a 4mm hook

The sample is made out of Stylecraft Special DK acrylic yarn. Any suitable Double Knit/8Ply yarn can be used as a substitute.

The sample uses 1947m/2126yds of yarn
This is 1086m/1185yds of the background colour Parchment

Each coloured square uses 42m/46yds of yarn
Each coloured rectangle uses 92m/100yds of yarn
