The Rainbow Throw Blanket is a simple knit stitch pattern with skipped stitches each row to increase in width, and a colour-matched bound edge.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 6 balls of Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook Yarn (3.5 oz/100g (Image shown is using the colours ‘Royal Purple’, ‘Cornflower’, ‘Fern’, ‘Laser Lemon’, ‘Red’, and ‘Magenta’.)

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 46” x 27” (117 cm x 68.6 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Mixing brands of loop yarn is not suggested, since the loop sizes of each brand are slightly different. The width of the colour stripes in this pattern are relative to the amount of yarn per skein - you can vary stripe widths however you wish to make your own pattern.
