Two strands of kettle-dyed yarn are held together to knit this hat, mitten and cowl set. Button accents are added for interest. The hat features a folded hem for extra warmth and an I-cord “top-knot”. The cowl is worked in a checkerboard pattern with button accents as well.

You will need:
436 yds each of 2 complementary colors of hand-dyed yarn, as shown, Kettle Tweed #4435 and #4557
one ring marker
cable needle
5 x 5/8 inch buttons
