Unlike any other hat in this book, this beanie is worked from the top of the crown down towards the brim. After the body of the hat is finished and its front and back stitches are bound off, the earflaps are knitted down continuously. The subtle ribbing of knits and purls offers an opportunity to wear this hat either way out.
