The Rainy Daze socks are inspired by the dialectics of life. Dialectics are two seemingly opposite views that can both exist in full authentic truth. Rain + sunshine = a gorgeous spring day.

So these socks have more complicated front than back. You cable on needle 1, and you knit in simplicity on needle 2. You pay mindful attention to needle 1, and then create mindless stockinette for needle 2. Sometimes we need rest, and sometimes we need to be energized; I hope these socks inspire you to do both. To listen to what your body needs, and follow through with what feels most right in this moment.

The yarn, Sunday Fibre Co. Barefoot Organic Sock, is magic. Elise puts care, love, and energy into each skein. It has been such a joy to work with Elise on this very special collaboration.

I am so delighted to share these special socks with you. Please share your WIPs, HOs, and FOs* with the hashtag #RainyDazeSocks.
