No cable needle required! The swirly design is achieved through increasing and decreasing.

NOTES:

  • There is one pattern for all sizes. Sizing is achieved through different needle sizes.

  • Due to the elastic nature of the garter rib, this sweater lengthens by approximately 8–10% after blocking, which has been accounted for in the pattern. YOU MUST BLOCK THIS FOR PROPER FIT.

  • This sweater looks best on body types with shoulders the same width or wider than hips.

  • In addition to step-by-step tutorial for the cool sleeve/shoulder finish, I have included both charted and written instructions, as well as an option for a crew neck.

  • Because a successful fit depends on how the yarn behaves after blocking, use a solid color of Cascade 220 for best results. If you plan to use another yarn, swatch carefully.
