I designed Ratha Poncho as a Mystery Knit Along to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of All Wound Up Yarn Shop.

This project is fun and engaging for knitters of all skill levels. Each week in July, the next portion of the instructions (the “clue”) will be released. As a MKAL, you won’t know the exact dimensions or final design until the last clue is released. This poncho has one size meant to fit up to a 54” bust, but notes are included in the clues should you wish to increase the size. In this case you will need one additional skein of yarn in a 7th color.

In August, I will compile all the clues into one downloadable PDF.

Don’t let the mystery part scare you. Video tutorials clearly demonstrate each section of knitting where you may have a question.

Yarn
6 skeins of fingering weight yarn with at least 100g/400 yards each.

Your colors should fade, either from light to dark or from one color to another color.

For my sample, A is the darkest color and F is the lightest color.

Kits are available from All Wound Up Yarn Shop
