The inspiration for this beautiful children’s neck warmer is a fern species named Maidenhair Spleenwort, which is called “Raunioiset” in Finnish.

The neck warmer is knitted seamlessly, top down in the round, with a circular needle. There is a folded, ribbed neck. The surface pattern of the yoke has fern cables, under which the yoke increases are hidden. The pattern is video supported.

If desired, adult sizes can be knitted with this same pattern by changing the yarn weight. A short conversion guide can be found at the beginning of the pattern.
