❤ Pattern Name: Red Carpet Clutch Bag ❤

A beautiful, unique, vintage style, Red Carpet Clutch Bag, which is worked all in one piece, with different crochet stitches and techniques to create the pretty lacy lid.
I’ve also adjusted a wrist handle to make it easier to carry around, but you can always leave it plain if you prefer it that way.

The pattern is beginner friendly with 100+ photos to guide you each step of the way, with total stitch counts in every round to make sure you’re right on track!
Each step is sectioned and worked separately to make pattern easy to follow, and yarn substitutes are also given in the pattern, in case similar cord as I have used cannot be found.

➡ Skill Level: Easy

➡ Measurements: W x H = 10.5 in x  8 in

➡ Material: Light Weight - Size 3 yarn
Yarn: 4 mm cord – 80% polypropylene/ 20% lurex – suitable for bags and purses.
Approx. 250 m or 275 yds.

➡ Yarn Substitutes:
Such yarn as stated above might be difficult to find. Below, I will list some yarns that have similar thickness and are suitable for bags.

3) DROPS Bomull-Lin
4) Patons Grace Yarn
5) Bernat Softee Cotton Yarn

➡ Crochet hook: 3.5 mm

➡ PVC lining: The lining was purchased from a local store (they don’t ship worldwide, but I found a similar item on Etsy, I have it included in the Pattern.

1) The pattern is written in US Crochet Terms.

9) In the beginning of the pattern, you can find yarn substitutes if you can’t find similar cord used.
10) I have used a PVC lining for which I have provided the link in pattern.
