This cosy dog jumper is knitted with an Aran weight yarn and a pair of 4.00mm and 5.00mm knitting needles, in a “V” shape, starting at the “tail-end” of the back and finishing at the collar. Then picking up stitches along the shoulder edges to work the front, all in one piece. The “V” shape is formed by increasing one stitch at each end of the right-side rows and decreasing two stitches in the centre of the right-side rows.

The ridged or welted pattern is formed by sections of garter stitch (every row knit) and single rib (knit 1, purl 1).
