Shown in Hazel Knits “Lively DK” (90% superwash merino, 10% nylon; 275yds/130g) - Aquarius.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 6 (4mm) 32” (80cm) or longer circular needle.
Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Stitch holders, stitch markers (8), removable markers (2), extra needle in same size for 3-needle bind off, tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 22 sts/30 rows = 4” in stockinette, blocked.
8 sts = 1¼“ wide in Wicker Stitch, blocked.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include long tail cast on, cable cast on, decreases, m1 increases, short rows, 3-needle bind off, picking up stitches, and I-cord.

CONSTRUCTION: The body is worked flat from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes and then separated for the fronts and back. Stockinette panels alternate with Wicker Stitch panels, which are shaped with decreases for an A-line shape. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with 3-needle bind off. Collar bands are knit with the fronts, joined at the back neck, and trimmed with I-cord. The set-in sleeves are knit flat, seamed, and sewn into the armholes.
