Yarn
Approximately 60 grams of any Fingering weight yarn held double. The sample is knitted with Milarrochy Tweed by KDD & Co (70% Wool, 30% Mohair; 100m / 109yds per 25g ball, Hare color)

Needles and notions
-3.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles (40cm / 16in) and 4 mm dpns for decrease section or your preferred type for working hat circumference.
-1 stitch marker and 8 extra markers to separate chart repeats
-Tapestry needle
-Scissors

Gauge
19 sts and 25 rows to 10cm / 4in over stockinette (and lace stitch) with yarn held double, without stretching and after washing, using 4.0mm / U.S. 6 needle.

Size
To fit head 55-60cm / 21-23in circumference

Measurements
24cm / 9in from the bottom to the top, 46cm / 18in circumference around the brim; measurements are after washing and without stretching.

Pattern Notes
This hat is worked from bottom to top. After a short section of 1x1 rib, the lace body is worked, following the written or chart instructions.
