The time to start knitting Christmas gifts is now!!

Riffles, in a stream or river, is the turbulent and fast moving shallow water you see that runs over rocks. As the water flows
it makes a pattern as it goes around the rocks. You can watch and see the same pattern over and over. I named this cowl
Riffles because the stitch pattern reminds me of this pattern that water makes as it moves swiftly over shallow rocky areas of streams and rivers.

The stitch pattern for the Riffles Cowl is an easy seven-stitch pattern, and an easy four-row repeat, and is perfect for someone just learning lace knitting. The cowl is easily customized to shorten it, or to add height, or to make it narrower or wider.

Using super bulky yarn, the Riffles Cowl pattern is an easy and fast project, and perfect for gift giving.
