I’d originally thought this up with the idea that, for someone who preferred a mitten, it would be easier to manage keys or pick things up off the ground if the index finger were “free” of the mitt, so to speak. Come to find out that these things already exist and are commonly referred to as “Trigger Finger Mitts” or things of that nature. But here at Rav, all the patterns (that I was able to come up with in a search, that is) were knitted. I thought I would go ahead and make a crocheted version.

Even though I have named it Rifleman’s Mitt, I didn’t make it with firearms in mind. Still thinking it’d be easier to fiddle with my keys. :)

Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
