I love a good comfy sweater to keep me warm in the winter.
This loose-fitting pullover is just what you’re looking for if you too love long sleeves, big collars & a crocheted look that’s a little bit different than the rest.

It’s available in sizes S - 3XL

My tension is on the tighter side, so using a K/6.5mm with DK works for me. My piece wasn’t holey or gappy. Those with looser tension will need to go down in hook size.

While gauge is not particularly important for this piece, I have included the gauge for 3 weight yarn. Baby Bee is on the thicker side of Dk, so if you are using a thinner Dk such as Yarn Bee Soft & sleek or even a mandala, please check your gauge & try your piece on after doing 6-8 rounds to ensure that you are on track with a size that you are happy with.
It is important to know that several different sizes of hooks were used during testing to achieve the right size. It all depends on the makers tension & comfortableness using a lighter weight yarn with a larger hook
I made a second, using worsted. So if you’re not comfortable using dk with a bigger hook or are having issues with sizing, or would like a thicker pullover, feel free to go up to worsted. If you do choose to use worsted, go down 1 size. Meaning, my first was a M with dk, but with worsted, I stopped at a S & they are very close in size. size

This is a basic yoke. Each side gains 2 stitches, with a total of 8 stitches being added to each round.

The pullover is crocheted seamlessly from the top down. I’ve included photo tutorials to help even a novice beginner create one of these beautiful pullovers for themselves. The pattern uses US crochet terms. Stitches used are ch, fsc, sc, esc, hdc cL, hdc vst, dec & slst.
