A cozy pullover, Riverwinds is knit in soft mohair held together with fingering weight, creating a dream fabric and halo. You’ll begin knitting seamlessly from the top down with an easy to memorize yoke, after which the body is separated and finished, while the sleeves are placed on hold. Once the body is bound off, the sleeves are then finished in a short trip to ‘sleeve island’ with 3/4 length sleeves.
The contrast color in the yoke is held double while continuing to hold the mohair and fingering weight together as your main color.

Please note that Riverwinds was designed to be cropped, but for those who prefer a longer body, additional yarn will be necessary. Also, sport or light DK weight yarn could be used as a substitute instead of holding fingering and mohair together.
