Maybe this is not the perfect moment to wear a hat, but it is the perfect month to start thinking about knitted gifts! This hat is a fast and fun knit using the pattern of my Rosarita Cowl - the most difficult thing was it to decide for two colors from my stash (I was going to travel and had to choose wool and colors to take with me which is always a challenge).

I used semisolid and speckled yarn for the version shown above, but I couldn’t resist to cast on two more hats during my holidays in Italy!

The ROSARITA hat has a ribbed brim, is very stretchy, slightly slouchy and well-fitting at the same time. It’s important to note that there are only a few tuck stitches to be knit. You can do it, knitters!
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes M/ L or use the instructions for fingering weight yarn (L); Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown.
