The Rose des vents pullover is a cable pullover with a circular yoke.
It is knitted seamlessly top-down starting at the neckband. The cable pattern flows from small cables into larger ones all the way from the neck edge down to the hem and cuffs. The sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knitted separately.
The neckband can be knitted short or more longer and the body can be knitted with a straight or slightly A-shaped line.

• Recommended ease between 12 and 30 cm /4.7 to 11.8” of positive ease.
• Finished bust measurements: (100, 110, 120) 130, 140, 150 (160, 170, 180) cm. / 
(39.3, 43.3, 47.2) 51.2, 55.1, 59(63, 66.9, 70.9”

Shown in size 2, with 28 cm of positive ease.

Yarn: fingering or sport weight yarn.

Approx: (1200, 1300, 1380) 1470, 1580, 1690 (1750, 1880, 1940) m of similar weight yarn.
Please be aware that adjusting the length of the garment will also affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the project.

Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches in main cable stitch pattern on larger needles, after blocking. (see appendix p9)

Needles: 
• 3,75 mm US 5 for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Rose des vents est un pull avec un empiècement circulaire droit ou légèrement en A, il se tricote du haut vers le bas sans couture. On commence par travailler l’encolure puis peu à peu on introduit le motif de torsade celui-ci s’adapte et se développe au grés des augmentations de l’empiècement.
Les manches et le corps sont séparés et sont ensuite tricotés séparément
Le motif de torsade travaille ensuite en continu sur l’ensemble du corps.

Taille 
• Taille du vêtement terminé, mesure prise à la poitrine –aisance comprise- : 
T (1, 2, 3) 4, 5, 6 (7, 8, 9) ; T (100, 110, 120) 130, 140, 150 (160, 170, 180) cm.
• Aisance recommandée entre 12 et 30 cm.

Tricoté en Taille 2, il est porté avec une aisance positive de 28 cm.

Laine
Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté en « Wool Local » d’Erica Knight, 100% Laine BFL & Masham 
(450 m/100g).

Métrage : environ (1200, 1300, 1380) 1470, 1580, 1690 (1750, 1880, 1940) m.

Échantillon : 24 mailles x 32 rangs = 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage, en utilisant le motif de torsade.
Attention l’ensemble de l’ouvrage est tricoté en circulaire, il est préférable de réaliser un un échantillon en rond.

Matériel : Aiguille circulaire en 3,75 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
Aiguille circulaire en 2,75 mm pour les finitions des manches et de l’encolure.
