Beginner Friendly!
This bookmark pattern makes an adorable gift and includes a template for packaging purposes. This adds a professional touch if you plan to sell the bookmark or give it as a gift. The template has been adjusted to fit this pattern perfectly and comes in several color options.

Supplies Needed:

-scrap yarn; very little is required, in sport weight (size 3), or in worsted weight (size 4). This tutorial uses the sport weight yarn, and the final measurements will reflect that; however, worsted weight yarn can be used. Your bookmark will just be slightly larger.
-size E 3.5 mm crochet hook
-scissors
-yarn needle
-2 small beads (optional. They help weigh the bookmark a bit for better functionality).
-measuring tape

If you are planning to use the bookmark template that is included with this pattern for packaging purposes, you will also need:
-card stock paper in the color of your choice
-a hole punch or X-acto knife
-scissors for paper
-some twine or ribbon for tying purposes

Gauge is not essential in this project. Finished measurements should be approximately 13” long, from top of flower to tip of tassel. The flower diameter will be approximately 1.5” when made with recommended size 3 yarn.
