“Rosewood” is the slouchy beanie with a touch of fancy that you will adore to wear when the cold season comes !

Worked in the round and bottom up using the stranded technique, it can be knitted in a few hours.

For a beautiful result, I recommend that you use a dark variegated yarn as main color (MC), and a solid color yarn as contrasted color (CC), so that the stranded colorwork shows as desired, but this beanie can also be worked with two yarns in solid color, as long as the contrast shows clearly.

This unisex pattern comes in 2 adult sizes (Craft Yarn Council of America’s standard sizing) :
woman (W) 50.5-56 cm/20-22”,
man (M) 56-61 cm/22-24”.

Skills required : cast on, knit, and purl in the round, knit two stitches together, stranded work.

“Rosewood” est un bonnet “slouchy” tricoté en rond avec la technique du jacquard.

Je l’ai créé avec deux très beaux fils dont l’un (Bouton d’Or “Steppe”) n’est malheureusement plus disponible.

Je recommande le fil dégradé Katia “Azteca” pour le coloris principal (CP), et un fil uni de même grosseur pour le coloris contrasté (CC), afin de bien dessiner les motifs de ce bonnet, mais tout autre combinaison de fil reste possible, à condition qu’elle corresponde à l’échantillon.

Ce modèle unisexe est disponible en deux tailles :
femme (F) – tour de tête de 50,5 à 56 cm ;
homme (H) – tour de tête de 56 à 61 cm.

Techniques : tricoter en rond, tricoter en Jacquard en suivant un diagramme, mailles envers, mailles endroit, diminutions simples.
