Design
The front and back of the cardigan is knitted in one piece until the armholes. The sleeves are knitted separately and sewn in. Stitches are picked up for the neckband and buttonbands. A chart is included to follow to complete the Rudolph motifs.

Sizes
4 sizes included to fit child: 0-3, 3-6, 6-12 and 12-24 months old.

Yarn
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the jumper knitted for size 0-3 months using Robin Bonny Babe DK in shade Cream (1366) and Robin DK in shades Mink (143), Latte (142), Red (042) and Black (044).

Skill
Intermediate. Written instructions provided, but experience needed to work from a chart for the motif.

Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
