ABOUT THE PATTERN
The blanket size is adaptable.
Rye is a square blanket, worked back and forth. Right and Left twist stitches used in the Rye pattern are worked without cable needle, which is much neater and faster (refer to the Technique Notes section). I-cord is attached once the main body is finished.
Techniques used: Long-tail CO, twisted stitch and cables, knitted CO, Attached I-cord.

YARN
Aran weight yarn; approx 400g or more.
Sample shown in a farm yarn from Muhu island in Estonia (100% wool, approx 191 yds / 175 m per 100g)

NEEDLES and NOTIONS
US 8 / 5 mm circular needle and DPNs, or size to obtain gauge.
