Sabaton-socks have easy stitch pattern which keeps you not getting all bored while knitting socks for the man who deserves hand knitted socks.

The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Yarn:

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 410 m (448 yds)/100g.

The sample socks were knitted with Hjertegarn Sock Wool, 200 m/219 yds per 50g.

Needles etc:

2.5-2.75 mm/ US 1.5-2 circular needle 100 cm/ 40” long.
Marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:

34 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
