Sagostad is the Swedish word for Fairytale town and this mitten is inspired by the Fairytale Town in my heart. For me it is Visby, on Gotland, the island of roses and fairytales in the Baltic Sea, where I live. But it could also be Lübeck, Antwerp or Ghent. Maybe Prague or Amsterdam. Or the Old Town of Stockholm. A town with small shops and cafées, cobblestoned streets and alleys and old beautiful buildings.

The mitten is knitted in the round and there are written instructions as well as charts for the colourwork. The pattern is professionally designed with lots of pictures and illustrations.

The yarn used is Rauma finull
