The PDF pattern provides an easy to follow step-by-step color photo tutorial.

This pattern is part of my 5 No-Starting Chain Baby Blankets eBook

I designed this blanket as a gift to a friend for her new niece. They named the baby ‘Samma’ which means ‘Soar’, I really love this beautiful meaning and decided to name the pattern the same :)

The pattern is based on the moss stitch and is worked in the round to create the square from the middle out.
There are more easy techniques involved to give more interest and texture to the blanket.

  • Skill level - Easy.
  • The pattern is written using English (U.S) terminology.
  • The blanket is crocheted with 2 strands of Fingering yarn, you can also use Aran yarn and use 1 strand (same amount of yarn).
