Relax and stashbust with the San Drea Shawl! While knitting this shawl may be zen-like, it’s never boring thanks to the alternating sections of short rows and stripes. A lace border gives a welcome break from all that garter stitch and adds a delicate finishing touch. Make your San Drea Shawl truly one-of-a-kind with endless customization options--use a different color for each stripe, make your stripes thicker or thinner (or add more of them!), extend the lace section or take it off entirely.

Notes
The version of Shibui Staccato used in this shawl has been discontinued and replaced with a new version that does not contain nylon. As such, two of the three contrast colors (50s Kitchen & Redwood) are no longer available.

Choose from two stripe width options for the final stripe section. The ‘skinny stripes’ option matches the pattern sample shawl, while the ‘skinnier stripes’ option was used by many of my beta knitters in their versions.
