The SKEINO Santa Fe Shawl is knitted on the bias. Two different yarns are knitted in Garter Stitch and Lace Sttich. One is a Alpaca Skein, containing 6 different colors for a nice shading. The other is our popular Violetta Yarn made from extra fine merino. This piece is knitted in Garter Stitch sections (A) separated by lace sections (B). There are 22 garter stitch rows (A) and 12 lace rows (B). This is an easy project knitting stripes of alpaca and merino. Knitting on the bias creates always a nice diagonal shape. Both yarns are super soft. The size is generous, 18 inches wide and 92 inches long from tip to tip.
You will love your Santa Fe Shawl knitting kit. Don’t be surprised if you receive a lot of compliments about this one!
