My rendition of an out of print vintage stocking from the 50’s.

Knit this adorable Santa carrying a tree down the chimney. Sure to be a keepsake for any recipient. You may leave the tree plain or embellish it with lights, and ornaments found at local craft stores.

Pattern includes: Written stocking instructions, alphabet chart, hints and a color chart of the design.

Intermediate knitting.
No gauge required
finished size approximately 7” x 23”
Knitted Flat and sewn up back seam
No design on the back.

You may use any acrylic or wool. I prefer acrylic because of the stiffness and way it hangs. Any worsted weight yarn will work.

Suggestions for fur: Plymouth adore; Sidar snuggly bunny; Patons be mine, Jubilee Soft touch fur.
