This crescent shaped shawl i came up with the pattern for after i had dyed me some yarn. The yarn reminded me of the undewatergardens of the Sargasso sea. So it has some subtle fish and shell patterns.

The yarn i used is 600meters/100grams. Never mind the gauge.
Lace to fingering weight will work for this pattern i think.
The pattern repeats are pretty easy to memorise. The shawl is knitted from the bottom up.
The lacepart has a crochet edge(made afterwards) and the body is worked with shortrows.
