Saumaton-mittens are worked in the round and have an arched gusset. The mittens can be knitted with three different gauges, see below the finished measurements for each size and choose appropriate gauge.

The sample mittens are size M and knitted with 23 sts gauge and are worn on hands with 21.5 cm circumference.

Yarn

100 g of DK or worsted weight yarn, app. 201 m (219.8 yds) per 100 g. The sample mittens were knitted with Cascade Heathers in colourway Aspen Heather (MC) and Birch Heather (CC), 5 g of CC is enough.
