The Sawtooth Socks are a fun variation on stripes. With just two rows of stranded colorwork every 6 rows, they go fairly quickly, and don’t require twisting the floats. The short-row heel instructions include written, picture, and video instructions to aid in clarity. There is also a separate set of instructions for a “deep fit heel” with a little extra room if short-row heels tend to be too tight on you.

There are 5 sizes available as I know adults can have a wide variety of foot sizes, and people with very small or very large feet deserve to have cute socks too. Sizes fit the following foot circumferences:
X-small 7.5 inches/ 18 cm
Small - 8.5 inches / 20.5 cm
Medium - 9.5 inches / 23 cm
Large - 10.5 inches / 25.5 cm
X-Large - 11.5 inches / 28 cm

A large print version PDF is available with your purchase. The large print version is black and white, while the regular print PDF version uses different colors to distinguish between the sizes. I have attempted to make all charts and picture instructions readable if you chose to print the regular version with black ink only.

The yarn used for the sample was a mini sock set by Leap of Faith yarns. You may visit her Etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LeapofFaithYarns?ref=shop-heade...
The set for the sample was Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.
You will need 80-100g of yarn total. If a color is not used in the cuff, heel, or toe, you may only need 10g of that color. If one color is used for both the heel and toe (as in the sample) you may need 22-24g of that color.
This pattern works best with solids, semi-solids/tonals, or tweed yarns. Too much variegation in a yarn causes the pattern outline to be lost.

The pattern is written to use size 1 needles in the magic loop method. I tend to knit loosely and used a size 0 myself to meet the gauge. Please make a gauge swatch to ensure a good fit.
