Fit
Designed with up 0-5cm /0-2in of negative ease. Choose a size that is 0-5cm / 0-2in smaller than the actual head circumference. The suggested yarn is very stretchy so even with negative ease the hat shouldn’t feel tight. The hat will grow with washing and wear.

Construction
Knit in the round and from the bottom up and featuring two different crown options. Choose from a single point crown perfect for topping with a big fluffy pom-pom or great on its own, or a two point crown for an adorable double pom look. The triple thickness picot brim is cosy and warm and is sewn in place after the hat is knit. Measurements are given in cm / inches.

Choosing Yarn
Drops SW Merino is a great choice for this hat as it is soft and machine washable. If you would prefer a non-superwash, Sandnes Double Sunday is a great alternative. If you are making matching School Run Mittens (link), use Filcolana Arwetta or Lang Jawoll or 4ply/fingering yarn of your choice held double. Holding yarn double will also make your hat warmer!
