Sea to Sky Beanie Knitting Pattern

The Sea to Sky Beanie Beanie has a beautiful Nordic snoflake colorwork pattern named after one of my favourite hikes in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. I am constantly inspired by the beautiful landscape around me and want my designs to transport you into BC. The color work design is unique and is sure to stand out while you are wearing it!

Pattern Notes
This beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up and uses the stranded colorwork technique. The pattern is an intermediate level and requires knowledge of knitting, purling, colorwork, and decreasing stitches. It should take around 3-5 hours.

Yarn/Needles
- 40g (105y) in main colour and 15g (40y) of contrast color in DK weight yarn (size 3)
-> The samples are made using Plymouth DK Merino Superwash in the colors Cornflower and White and Navy and White
- one US 7 needle (4.5mm) 16” circular needles or double pointed

Gauge
22 stitches and 26 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in ribbing
