Knit four beautiful outfits so your child can dress up a doll for different occasions. Run through the grass in the fairy-style spring frock, or hit the beach in our stylish vintage swimsuit. Water the garden in the patterned sun-dress, or dance at a winter’s party in our stunning snowflake-themed ballgown.

Please note this is the pattern for the clothes only - the dolls are sold separately.

Difficulty: Intermediate, but we give some alternative options for those who want an easier knit

Stitches used: k2tog, p2tog, kfb, sl1k, sl1p, sl1k1psso (aka “skp”), s1 k2tog psso, yfwd (aka “yo”). There are also a couple of special stitches which are explained and demonstrated within the pattern.

You will need:
• Wool – colours are listed in the patterns. Where more than 25g is required, this is specified. I used Double Knit (8-6 ply, “light worsted”.) Tension square: 10cm x 10cm square is 24 stitches across and 32 rows.
• Knitting needles – I used UK size 11 (3.0mm, US size 2.5), except for the Winter overskirt, where I used UK size 8 (4.0mm, US size 6).
• Tapestry needle
• Fastenings such as poppers (press studs, snap fasteners). We recommend poppers because if pulled, they’ll snap open, whereas if hook-and-eye closures are pulled, they may damage your knitting.
• Small lengths of flat elastic, approx. 5-8mm width
