This wash cloth is the second in the 6 part series of Learn to Knit. This pattern includes written directions, a chart, a checklist for tracking rows and a video tutorial. This is designed with the beginner knitter in mind, using only a variation of knit and purl to create a textured wash cloth that uses less than one skein of yarn.

Gauge is not important in this project. However, this is a generously sized wash cloth. Directions are included on the pdf that instruct how to adapt the size, in case you would like something larger.

Materials Needed:
Solid Color 100% Cotton Yarn (Medium 4 weight): 80 yards
Size 6 (4.00 mm) Knitting Needles (I use circulars, however straight needles will work just fine, too)
2 stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry Needle and Scissors
