This pattern contains a step-by-step written instructions, photo tutorial for center of doily and charts for mosaic ornament. It’s available in English only.

The chart is created using two different colors. I used mercerized cotton thread 262 yards per 50 gr. Crochet hook №1.75.
I used these combinations of colors:

A — mustard
B — terracotta
C — burgundy (or marsala)
D — light antique blue
E — dark turquoise
F — dark sea green
a little light yellow color for center of doily
light beige color for lacy stripe and border

and

A — mint
B — sea green
C — dark sea green
D — light pink
E — salmon
F — fuchsia
a little white color for center of doily
light beige color for lacy stripe and border.

Any yarn and appropriately sized hook can be used to make this pattern but you will get a different size square. Acrylic yarns, cottons or a mixed fiber all will work well.

Finished size from picot to picot 35 cm (approx. 14’’), weight — 58 gr.

“Senez” mosaic square doily is made in 45 rounds, starting with a magic circle. Doily is crocheted in the round from the center and outward, using mosaic overlay crochet technique. The technique is not difficult, just pay close attention to the stitch placement in the chart.

Crochet skill level is advanced. You will need to work BLO and FLO stitches, front and back post stitches, clusters, splits, puffs (all in US terms).
