The chevron stitch pattern is one of my favourites because I love how this simple two row pattern, combined with a striped pattern, creates this amazing zig zag. It epitomises everything I love about knitting. Simple stitch, simple stripe, simply beautiful. You might find a few other of my patterns that use this stitch!

Yarn & Amounts: One 100g hank each of WYS Bluefaced Leicester Aran (100% Bluefaced Leicester wool, 166m/182yds per 100g) in shade A, shade B and shade C.
I used 02 Natural Light Brown for shade A, 03 Natural Brown for shade B and 01 Natural Ecru for shade C.

Measurements: approx. 50cm x approx. 121cm.

This blanket was originally in the Knitted With Love book (out of print) and is now available as a single pattern. The single pattern has been updated to include a dk version.

This Chevron Stitch hand knit was originally designed in aran as a baby blanket however it also makes a great scarf to keep you cosy warm in the chilly months when knitted in DK yarn.

Needles for dk version: 4mm.

Gauge (tension) for dk version: 28 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern using 4mm needles.
